Meet Yeou-Ling
Yeou-Ling Wen’s musical journey began at a young age, singing and playing on her sisters’ piano. A classically trained opera singer, she is also a skilled clinical music therapist proficient in a variety of instruments.
After completing her bachelor’s degree, Yeou-Ling took a gap year to teach in Taiwan with Musik Garden and Gymboree. Upon returning to Australia, she shifted her focus to early childhood music pedagogy, teaching children aged 0-5 with Gymboree and Kindermusik. During this time, she furthered her education, earning a Master of Music while also founding Voices of Heaven™. Through this initiative, she taught Kindermusik, piano, voice, and music theory to both groups and individuals. Yeou-Ling also received specialized training in early intervention piano/keyboard courses with the International School of Music and Forte School of Music.
Yeou-Ling completed her Master of Creative Music Therapy in Sydney, Australia, at the Golden Stave Music Therapy Centre, in collaboration with the University of Western Sydney. During her studies, she gained valuable experience across a variety of music therapy clinical settings, including working with individuals of all ages with disabilities, children in an autistic school, and in aged care. As she neared graduation, Yeou-Ling began working at a behavioural high school in North Sydney and took on private music therapy clients.
Her passion lies in pediatric music therapy, particularly working with children with ASD, ADHD, and other behavioural and developmental challenges. She firmly believes in the importance of establishing music competency and literacy at an early age through singing, instrumental playing, and aural training.

Yeou-Ling is also a psychotherapist-counsellor, having recently completed a Master of Counselling with Monash University to complement her expertise in Music Therapy with a therapeutic approach.
A talented coloratura soprano, she has performed in both chorus and minor principal roles with Rockdale Opera, Opera Prometheus, and Pacific Opera. Yeou-Ling was also a member of the Sydney Philharmonia Choir, performing in their production of Messiah. Most recently, she has been engaged with The Cooperative, where she is performing in Verdi’s Nabucco.
